TOILETRIES:
What do I need to know?
We recommend that you arrive in Cusco at least one day before to acclimate to the altitude and avoid possible symptoms of altitude sickness during our tour. The Machu Picchu 2-day 1-night tour is open all year round, and you can take this trip in any month of the year (rainy season from December to March).
Briefing:
Briefings are held one night before the start of the trip and last approximately 30 to 45 minutes. If you are unable to attend, you will need to contact us by email to arrange a meeting with your guide at another date or time.
Note: You will also need a backpack to carry your personal items, such as sunscreen, water, rain gear, sunglasses, etc.
Documentation: It is very important that you carry your personal documents, especially your original passport.
Payment for the service: If you made the reservation and gave a 50% advance payment, it is important that you make the remaining payment after the informative meeting with your guide the night before starting the trip to Machu Picchu.
Strikes/Demonstrations:
Unfortunately, strikes are frequent in Peru and can disrupt our tours. Roads are often blocked, and trains are stopped. We will make sure that your trek continues as planned, even if that means leaving the night before the start date. In these circumstances, tours may need to be canceled. But our operations department will coordinate with you in this situation. Your safety is always our primary concern.
Lost and Found:
Each client is responsible for their items throughout the tour. Be careful where you leave your belongings and remember to pick up all of your items from our transportation, stores, restaurants, etc. It is possible that other hikers or teams may pick up your belongings without knowing who the owner is.
